Karen was called to the bar of Ontario in 2010. She has been a Children’s Lawyer since 2013, and was a member of Legal Aid’s Domestic Violence, Child, Youth, and Family Services, Administrative and Duty Counsel Panels from 2011 to 2021. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts and is certified in Collaborative Practice. Karen is also a family mediator accredited by the Ontario Association of Family Mediators and a trained Voice of the Child practitioner. Prior to COVID-19, Karen enjoyed assisting self-represented litigants as Advice Lawyer (FLIC) and Family Court Duty Counsel in York Region’s Family Courts. She offers information and advice about separation and divorce, family court procedure, and alternatives to court in Ontario to people around the world. She offers “unbundled” legal coaching services, case strategy development, research and litigation support, mediation and independent legal advice for mediated and negotiated settlements.

Michael is a Licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) and owner of MT Legal Services. He completed the Paralegal Program at Algonquin College and graduated with Honours. Michael also brings his previous business experience to the table, following a successful career as an award-winning Project Manager. Michael provides services primarily in matters involving Landlord and Tenant disputes. He also provides services in Small Claims Court, Employment Law and contract matters. Michael applies his knowledge and professionalism to help clients achieve the best possible outcome when representing or advising them in any legal matter.
